From championship weightlifting to Kingdom economics
Phillip Trujillo’s life journey spans athletics, finance, prison ministry, and a deep calling to equip believers with biblical principles of prosperity. Once a three-time NCAA powerlifting champion and world-record holder in the bench press, Phillip went on to a decades-long career in estate and tax planning.
But his true mission now? Helping believers, families, and ministries break free from financial lack and embrace God’s covenant of abundance—spirit, soul, and body.
From lifting weights to lifting lives
Phillip didn’t plan on entering finance. At age 23, he was selling self-help cassette tapes when a top insurance salesman flipped the script and recruited him into the industry. From there, Phillip built a career in insurance, investments, and estate planning—ultimately becoming a trusted advisor for families, nonprofits, and ministries.
Yet success didn’t shield him from trials. In his early 60s, after decades of prosperity, he found himself in court facing criminal charges. Though confident in his innocence, he was sentenced to prison.
Instead of defeat, prison became a training ground. Phillip earned a master’s in Christian counseling by correspondence and began ministering to fellow inmates—cartel members, murderers, alcoholics, and more. Many still call him their “spiritual father” today.
Learning Kingdom economics
In those long years, Phillip prayed: “Lord, teach me about Your Kingdom.” He sensed God’s reply: “Not only will I teach you My Kingdom, I will also teach you about the kingdom of darkness, because you need to understand both to fulfill My plan.”
He realized:
The world’s economic system—performance-based, fear-driven—is under the sway of darkness.
God offers a blood covenant of wealth through Jesus: “I became poor so you could become rich.”
To walk in Kingdom prosperity, believers must apply biblical economics: tithes, first fruits, and faith offerings.
The power of the tithe
Most believers have heard of tithing. Few understand its true foundation. Phillip explains:
Levitical priesthood model: Obligation-based, tied to the Mosaic law.
Melchizedek priesthood model: Honor-based, fulfilled in Christ as our eternal High Priest.
When we tithe under the order of Melchizedek—bringing the first and best to Jesus Himself—it becomes more than ritual. It becomes covenant.
Benefits of honoring God with the tithe:
Breaks cycles of poverty
Attracts divine favor and provision
Opens unexpected connections and opportunities
Positions us for supernatural breakthrough
“The thing we honor honors us. When we honor God with the tithe, He honors us with protection, provision, and favor.” —Phillip Trujillo
Obedience, faith, and legacy
Phillip emphasizes that tithing is not about compulsion but covenant. It’s not “buying favor” with God but aligning with His eternal principles.
He reminds us:
Obedience unlocks protection and provision.
Faith activates God’s promises.
Honor opens doors no man can shut.
And it’s about more than money. Prosperity touches every part of life: spirit, soul, and body. Families, ministries, and businesses all thrive when believers align with God’s economic system.
Looking ahead: courts of heaven
Phillip also teaches on the Courts of Heaven, where generational curses, ungodly contracts, and spiritual blockages are dealt with. This, combined with Kingdom economics, restores believers into alignment with their God-given destiny.
“Churches and ministries don’t lack vision. They lack provision. God’s covenant of wealth isn’t just about comfort—it’s about fueling Kingdom assignments for generations.” —Phillip Trujillo
